Quiet paws. Loud perimeter.
A disciplined guard dog with one deeply undisciplined bark.
LATCH CHECK
NIGHT GATE
At dusk, Ninjinu takes the narrow path to the cedar gate. He checks the latch twice, ignores the wind, and listens for shoes on gravel. Training says remain unseen. House rules allow one warning. He normally spends all three before a visitor reaches the bell.
ROOF LINE
After midnight, he counts chimneys and distrusts every moving branch.
EAR CHECK
The route never changes: roof ridge, garden wall, dojo eaves, then home. Ninjinu leaves no footprints except the obvious orange ones. Every stop is silent until a hinge complains. Then the neighborhood receives a concise, fully committed opinion.
The uniform suggests stealth. The ears conduct independent surveillance. The paws know every roof tile, while the voice remains calibrated for emergencies, delivery carts, and leaves behaving without permission.

One Bark
Contains the force of several administrative letters.
Gate safe. Silence mostly restored.
